02. Brush out hair thoroughly with a comb starting at the roots and brushing backwards.
03. If you naturally have straight hair, skip this. Straighten the mid-lengths and ends first and then the back and bangs.
05. Pull a large 3-inch section of hair and tease with a paddle brush. Secure it to your head with a bobby pin or elastic, and then slide a bobby pin between the hair to secure.
