Your hair must be at least touch your collar bone in order to achieve the look in this guide. Use hair extensions if needed.
1. Your hair needs to be clean; in other words, free of grease, oil, shampoo, etc. If your hair was washed more than 24 hours ago, you may want to consider washing it.
2. Hop in the shower and wash your hair thoroughly. Shampoo twice (only shampoo three times if your hair's really dirty) and condition once.
3. Find a detangling spray and gently spritz some on your hair. Take a tooth comb (preferably not the one you used in the shower) and comb out the tangles gently.
4. Find your blow dryer and plug it in. Dry your hair as straight as possible; start drying your bangs first, if you have any. Be sure to section your hair evenly.
5. Wait 20-30 minutes before flat ironing your hair. For people with naturally straight hair, brush your hair and apply a light coat of hairspray at this point.
6. Plug in your flat iron and let it heat up for 30-60 seconds. Brush your hair while waiting for it to heat up.
7. Once your flat iron is heated up, straighten your hair. Section evenly and remember not to burn yourself.
8. Brush your hair if needed. Take a tooth comb and sweep your bangs to the right side of your face. You want your bangs to be rather bunched up for the best look.
9. Make sure everything looks okay. Apply a very light coat of hairspray to hold it all together.
10. You're done!
